What is NITTP?
New Industrialisation and Technology Training Programme (NITTP) is a funding scheme under the Innovation and Technology Fund that subsidises local companies on a 2:1 matching basis to train their staff in advanced technologies, especially those related to “New Industrialisation”.

Further enhancements were made to the administration of the New Industrialisation and Technology Training Programme (NITTP). Please refer to the form library for the revised Guidance Notes (“Guidance Notes for Public Course and Training Course Applications” and “Guidance Notes for Training Grant Applications”) and Application Forms (Form 1 and Form 2) with effect from 13 May 2024.

Please note that a registered public course under the NITTP titled “Technology application in building inspection and smart facilities” (Ref: PTIL/14/2023(RT)) has been de-registered in accordance with the “Guidance Notes for Public Course and Tailor-made Course Applications” with immediate effect due to non-compliance with the “Guidance Notes for Public Course and Tailor-made Course Applications”.
For Companies & Employees
What type of companies is eligible to apply for the training grant?
Registered in Hong Kong under the Business Registration Ordinance (Cap. 310)
Non-government and non-subvented organisation
Hong Kong permanent resident under full-time employment of the company with the necessary background / experience relevant to training course.
*Each company is subject to a funding ceiling of HK$500,000 in each financial year.

Provision of technology training
With two or more years of relevant experience
Training Courses Supported
Public Courses
They are open to the public for enrolment. Applications for course registration should be submitted by course providers.
Tailor-made Courses
They are designed for a particular company (or companies). Application for course approval should be submitted by the concerned company separately with the training grant application.
