What is NITTP?
New Industrialisation and Technology Training Programme (NITTP) is a funding scheme under the Innovation and Technology Fund which subsidises local companies on a 2:1 matching basis to train their staff in advanced technologies, especially those related to "New Industrialisation".

Eligibility (Companies and Employees)
A company is eligible to apply for training grant for its employee(s) if it is:
Registered in Hong Kong under the Business Registration Ordinance (Cap. 310)
a Non-government and non-subvented organisation
the employee nominated is a Hong Kong permanent resident under the full-time employment of the company with the necessary background / experience relevant to the advanced technology.
Eligibility (Course Providers)
Course providers with two or more years of relevant experience in the provision of technology training may submit applications to register their public courses under the NITTP.
What types of training courses can be supported by NITTP?
There are two types of training courses supported by the NITTP:
Public Courses
They are open to the public for enrolment. Applications for course registration should be submitted by course providers.
Tailor-made Courses
They are designed for a particular company (or companies). Application for course approval should be submitted by the company concerned separately with the training grant application.
- The technologies covered by the training courses should be advanced in nature and not yet widely adopted in Hong Kong. The adoption of such technologies should also benefit the economy of Hong Kong.
- Both relevant local and non-local courses can be supported.
